JJ's post this morning implied that the player(s) we are trying to sign (with the exception of Aurier & Barkley) do not have player threads here - would suggest that this probably isn't the one.

Likely not.
RB Leipzig has no reason to sell and Werner has no real reason to push for a move.
Look at how hard they fought to keep Keita and in the end they were only forced into a future sale because of an impending release clause. To my knoedge Werner doesn't have a release clause or an impending one.
