Am I going crazy but have loads of threads about some german midfielder been made and deleted today? I counted about 3?

I tried posting on one, wouldn't let me stating "oops we've ran into some problems"

Said thread since disappeared. Maybe unreliable source o_O

I know this isn't entirely related but Honigstein is confirming (via Michael Zorc) that a PL club had a bid rejected for Pulisic before Chelsea got in but the player rejected it. He said it wasn't the one spoken about before (Liverpool). It sounds like it may have been us?

I wonder if we have moved on to Werner due to this.

As good as Werner would be and could be, I must say, I think I would greatly prefer Luka Jovic. He’s not as quick as Werner but I think he has a lot more to his game. I find Werner a little too direct at times, not that I would unhappy with him.

I have a feeling (you mentioned how direct Werner is) this is exactly what Poch is looking for. It'd tie in with his clear desire he has had for Zaha over previous windows. (just my opinion mind you)

You can never have enough direct pace and lethal finishing.

It's why Liverpool will win the league.

If that truly is the price, we should be all over it before anyone gets involved. Try and send Janssen their way to get him now, so they get a replacement forward.
For once, I’d even take the buy for summer route, at least it means he’s in for preseason, unlike every other year when we’re scratching round on the last day of the window, already 2-3 games deep into the league.

Isn’t the transfer window changed next year so that it will close when the seasons first game starts?

What an ending that would have been.

Werner tracking back to win the ball back in his own box. Sets up an attack and a missed header.

Isn't this exactly what the ITK said? That Pulisic turned us down in favor of Chelsea.

Was good desire but on the whole RB were pretty poor going forward. Really missing forsberg today. Werner didn’t have a great game, didn’t get on the ball enough and his touch let him down on a good few occasions. Still nowhere near as bad as Sabitzer who was shocking.

Do like their CB.

What I would give for a breaking news type announcement during the match “We’ve just received word that Tottenham have completed the transfer of Timo Werner”

Levy just keeps chickening out of these transferdeals and we reap the resulting frightful harvest whenever Kane is out injured...

It's not just Kane though is it. We needed to replace or at least strengthen when Wanyama got a serious injury. Dembele clearly needed to be replaced also and there's doubts over Rose's fitness. This lack of spending is the reason we we won't compete for any trophys.
