Providing everyone stays fit and strong, considering our summer signings still haven;t fully setteld, I would sell Sig and maybe buy a LB and that is all. Fill up the rest with the talent from our academy
Yeah, but you should know, a club will never ever do that, it's way too risky. Even if the manager has faith in young boys just because he has been alongside them during their development, the chairman won't be having any of it. They have to assume that they won't be able to cope in the prem. An academy player will never replace a potential signing. Can't you see the monumental leap from reserve/academy football to the Premier League and the Champions League? Would you honestly put 100% faith in Carroll, Pritchard and Veljokivc? They need to be eased into the team, not thrown in the deep end as bloody summer signings going into a new season!
