Tom Carroll will have a medical at Swansea ahead of £4.5m switch rom Tottenham, according to Sky sources.

Even Levy cannot make him a 8m player... Anyway, his assist to Bale will always in my heart
Expect there to be some add-ons to the 4.5m. Daniel always delivers. Possibly we have rewarded him for his loyalty sticking around as an honest pro, and maybe taken the price down a little.

If we really get 4.5 million, we'll have received just above 40 million from selling academy players since 2011. Hope we can keep on producing players of the same quality in the coming years as well.

Swansea seem to always buy players for 4.5 or 5m, so this doesn't surprise me! I think it's a good move for everyone. Good luck to him.

Think it's more like 60 million and that's yet to include Bentaleb.

Ian Dennis BBC: Both Martin Olsson and Tom Carroll were in Swansea last night. Their deals "are close" from Norwich City and Tottenham respectively #Swans

We don't know about any bonuses though. This is Levy. They probably have to pay us 500 grand every time he takes a shit.

Yep, I just looked at an old number I had and added Carroll to it, forgetting about Mason.

Good luck to him. Hope they stay up for him, Gylfi and Kyle Naughton.

Wanting >5m for a player of his age with no real credentials besides a half season's worth of average games feels optimistic. I'm not saying we won't get more, Levy is shrewd and football is crazy, but surely there is a better way to spend 6-10m than Big Tom.
