Yes it's an interesting article but I then looked at the match rating chart at the bottom. Unless I am reading it incorrectly they have DAWSON as man of the match? Have I gone mad? Indeed, has the world gone mad?

yep - agreeed - Daws our MOTM - well it's all about opinions - but blimey - no way was Daws our best player

TBH I'd go for woody - but none were outstanding

dawson lost wheater twice, got away with one and was lucky to give away a penalty but got found out later. people in the past have said he could be our terry with his never say die attitude but im sorry he is shite. He gets caught out of position which means he needs a last minute block, and people see this as great defending but he shouldnt need to do it in the first place.

Harsh! Although I have to accept your point he maybe shouldn't get himself into bad positions as credible - he's far from shite dude. I was saying on another tread, Daws is lacking confidence at the minute, maybe after last season and usually when he hasn't got Ledley along side. He has turned out many good performances. Against Chelsea in the league win - for example - he was awesome!

yeah ok i accept he isnt shite, in fact the first year he signed he was very good and i was a big fan but it has dawned on me that he isnt good enough. He is not good enough for us and if any player needs someone else to be beside him for him to play well then he odviously isnt reliable. And with ledleys injury worries he may not get to play with him more than 5 games a season. we cant carry ledley and dawson, we need another first choice centre back. as good as ledley is we cant afford to wait for him to be fit every 4 games as he wont strike up a partnership with woody. id rather get another cb in and let him and woody work together.

Funny if u check the classy features at the bottom, you can see the general position of the spurs player.

Modric the deepest of all our midfielders, it should not be like that. He should be the one furthest up the pitch if anything.

I agree dawson is cack and is not the quality we should have in the first 11, especially if spurs are serious about a top 4 push. Dawson in our defence shows a lack of ambition, woody and someone else please, king clearly isnt fit.
