Berbatov was fully fit and wanted to start. That's dead certain. He had 5 days after the Albania game. He wasn't tired at all. And the Necastle game was more important, as a negative result vs Getaffe could be compensated later.

A league loss to Newcastle away (lost home and away last season or did you forget?) can also be compensated later in the season. Many reports claimed Berbs had a knock and was doubtful to start against Newcastle. Other games are on the schedule and must be taken into consideration.

People need to stop living in last season or any other season other than the one we're fucking in! Stop dreaming and get your heads in the present. The situation we are in is grave and IMMEDIATE! It needs serious, critical care and a humongous investment in guts, honour, dignity, grit and strength of mind to pull us out of this.

"Can also be compensated later in the season"?? You out of your friggin' mind? The way we're playing and the mindset we're in, we need to put as many points on the table abso-fucking-lutely as soon as fucking possible, or we're fucked. We are in no position, whatsoever, to think that any loss can be compensated on later. Crack-head thinking, in our current predicament. If your head was in this season, you'd see that too.

In my opinion Jol should be gone and Clive Allen put in until we source a permanent replacement. Jol isn't gonna change his style of management in any way shape or form, we know that. By keeping him we're just asking to extend the length of time we spend in this world of hurt which he's had a major role in creating.

Unsettling a player from that caliber cannot be paid off.

Either try to keep him happy or try to sell him for a lot of money. Jol's decisions neither keep Berbatov happy, nor keep his market value from the summer.
He may leave eventually for less money than Spurs gave for Bent.

I'm hearing you loud and clear, Bati-boy, the truth disturbs some people though.

Worried and anxious though I am, why have we suddenly gone from "He never plays Bent having spent 16m on him" to "Why isn't Berbs playing?"

We'll only play 2 strikers in each game, and Berbatov will not start every match. If he doesn't understand that, I feel bad for him, sons... err....:shifty:
