It's a shame Fred plays for Utd. Could of had a gay old time.

We should seriously go for Thomas Partey instead of Athletico Madrid. He's also unhappy and wants to leave in January. The man is an absolute beast!

The article suggest he would be a Dembele replacement but I would have thought he would take Wanyama place in the squad?

We are lacking brains
not brawn.
But I suppose brains
are too expensive.
Pity, just as Sisssoko is coming good.

Didn't fancy him after the world cup... I'm all for tough players who get stuck in, but not dirty, cheaty twats.

More Scott Parker, less Gattuso.

He’s a bit old to suddenly come good. He simply isn’t technically gifted enough, his decision making isn’t good enough and I don’t think he’s got the picture in his head of what is going on around him. He’s honest though and will run though brick walls for Poch all day long but let’s not kid ourselves that he is going to become some amazing midfield player because he isn’t.

His decision to cut inside and place a perfect cross right onto the on running Lamela's head was pretty good.
He had a pretty decent game yesterday and was involved more often than Kane and did less wrong than Davies.

Yes it was a good cross and yes he had one of his better games yesterday. Still he ran into dead ends and lost the ball several times. He has a terrible habit of running with the ball at one of our players that is stationary and then laying the ball off to them but does it so badly that player immediately has 2 players on top of him. He very often looks terrified to receive the ball and panicked to know what to do with it at his feet. Now I'd never boo him at a game but lets not kid ourselves that he is ever going to be at a standard that is what we should be aiming for. As for comparing him to Davies and Kane, yeah Davies wasn't great, neither was Trippier, neither were a few others. Kane has 7 goals in 8 games so I'll give him a pass. Sissoko had a better than average game and he's only had a few of those in 2.5 years.

I'm not saying he'll finally live up to his billing of Bales replacement.
Just feel like he gets so much stick that it's only fair to give him a metaphorical pat on the back when he does well.
He does run in to dead ends a lot, but they all do, Moura and Lamella did it numerous times themselves.
People are just waiting for him to do it to call him on it. When Moura does it, people give a half hearted round of applause for trying.

I reckon Sissoko is a good lad to have around the squad. He seems well involved in all the training pictures and is involved in go celebrations Etc. Having something different to what we have helps too. I reckon he'd get better very quickly if he was more confident. 99% of the time I'm utterly horrific at football because I have very little confidence.
If I do something good early on in a game though I'll have a blinder.

Seems happy at us as well and doesn’t want to go nowhere so maybe it’s time to cut sissoko some slack and get behind him.

Looked awful in the World Cup to me, like someone else said, Thomas Partey at At.Madrid could be worth looking at.

Why?

He´s as far as I know an enforcer. He doesn´t have extreme speed nor great abilities with the ball at his feet. Not an improvement on neither Dier or Wanyama as a defensive anchor/shield in front of the defensive line, and not even close to Dembele nor Winks when it comes to bringing the ball forward. Just turned 25. In addition: another foreign player adding to our already big issue with the home grown quotia of homegrown players. So i beg to ask:

Why?
