Next season most clubs will be broke, there will have to slow down player inflation and wage inflation, i would expeted prices will fall and wages will fall, a lot of clubs worldwide will need to sell. I cant see Levy not knowing this and knowing getting as much as he can for Ali now would be very sensible, it will be a buyers market in the summer, we need to clear out as much deadwood as we can.

He retired from internationals in 2017 then unretired in 2018... then re-retired again.

I think it was implied he was going to retire from club football when he acted like a melon in the CL semi-finals in 2018 and got sent off, but I think he decided not to.
