Great goal by eriksen. Only saw highlights- ccv seemed a bit exposed at the back; how did he and kwp get on?

I think PSG will be a bit of a wow playing PSG thing for CCV and KWP. It's still new for them. Real game time is what they need and no doubt Poch will review the footage with them. But even commentary said seemed both teams pedestrian.

saw extended highlights. Defense was exposed numerous occasions. Especially down the middle. In all fairness they were up against world class opposition in cavani, moura and Di Maria so fair play to them for not leaking in more than 2. Should it have remained 11v11 it may have been a different outcome. But it was a friendly and I'm sure the squad as a whole will be satisfied by the result

I watched it all and was very impressed considering the team we started with was verts ccv dier in back 3 with Davies and kwp as well as half the team not being 1st choice. Ccv fked up on hw line for their goal yes, he isn't quite ready maybe but PSG had mostly 'world class' players out. KWP was a major plus for me, he didn't look scared or out of place and played very well. NKodou going for it against Alves made me smile but his shot made me cringe. Second half got a whole lot easier when big boys came on and Kane was fouled outside the area by their keeper for a red card. Eriksen goal was special, he also had a near miss and Alderwiereld goal was quality. Dier punked the goalie for his goal rushing him and sticking a leg out for the ball to end up in the net. Kane penalty keeper went right way but too low to stop it.

Don't really go with the pedestrian bit, we were playing our normal pressing game not allowing them to settle at all. Both goals wouldn't have been with our first choice centre backs.

Nyone elseannoyed that these games are at a time when we cant watch them in the UK? I normally like watching the preseason games to see how some of the youth players are getting on

Yeah, I won't be watching the Roma one on a work night. Just happened I got home at 1am and the Mrs was 'too tired' so it was natural to watch the football. Also just watched the highlights above and see KWP could've been more alert on the second goal but nothing he won't learn from- but more worryingly, why is Son wearing a PSG shirt on 3.24!?!

We played 4-2-3-1... Dier was in the midfield alongside Dembele.

Irrespective of whether it was our first warm up game of the season i do have concerns about CCV. He was pretty poor in the Cup game last season and he just appeared to be off the pace and was caught out of position several times last night.

I am surprised that Poch has not sent him out on loan for a season, especially as we have Wimmer and if need be Dier as cover.

I thought given his age and first team experience up against one of the best sides in Europe, KWP played very well indeed. I would certainly have no fear if he was back up to Trippier next season.

PSG moved the ball well, even though they were down to ten men, but this was their second game of the pre-season si they should have looked sharper.

Dembele was the best player on the pitch.

Ccv was fine against gillingham but struggled against Liverpool. Maybe poch should have had him between the more experienced trippier and vertongen, especially with the inexperienced pairing of onomah and kwp on the right flank

You're not the smartest person to be patronising people lol

Your not the smartest person at answering a straightforward question.
Obvious to everyone on here that you have no clue how the system our manager installed actually works.

Bless.

I was referring to that roller-coaster ride against Wycombe. He was at a total loss.

A loan wouldn't go amiss, especially as we have sufficient cover in that position.
