Sounds like crazy money to me. Unproven and a huge risk. Everton have just paid 30 million on Pickford the young Sunderland goalkeeper a risk. Is that what football is about now buying success in debt. We the fans pay for his through increased ticket prices and a new season and new kits.
Ali cost 5 million through good scouting , that's what we need, young talent to be spotted and brought on...not this.
COYS scounts earn your money!

Alli is once in a decade player. Don't think that there are 20 of him sitting in the lower leagues. We also need players to come in and hit the ground running next year. We want the title don't we?

The billions in TV money pay for it.
It's not like the price of tickets has gone up exponentially over night.

This sounds like more made up.shit to me.
It's hard to know. If we spend this much on a player then I want him to start, unlike Sissoko, but I doubt Poch will want more than a support striker for Kane. If Janssen has a good preseason I'd be tempted to stick with him and spend big elsewhere.

The article says the player doesn't want to join us. Maybe we should be looking somewhere else. I'd like someone more enthused, such as Trippier was. (Trippier proudly proclaimed in social media that he was a professional footballer with Tottenham Hotspur immediately after joining us.)

I thought that there was a special section
for all this nonsense.
Oh Lord when will it end.

Maybe, maybe not.
Might be 2or3 sitting around, or preferably running around
or maybe just the one.
Stick to the Project
buy em young, train em up, and let em loose.
We haven't done too badly so far with this system.

Older experienced winners I hear you cry.
Sissoko I reply.

I genuinely don't know who I would like us to sign......

I think if we can shed a few who aren't going to make it, things will look clearer.

Shame Bruma went elsewhere.

Hard to sign players who aren't going to block the youngsters coming through.

Sorry, who has ever called Sissoko a winner!

Played 52 times for France
and was a member of the team
that finished runners up in the 2016 Euros.

No you're right.
Sorry, I'm not sure why that makes him a winner? He hasn't even won a trophy? Do you get that for runner up?
