Tottenham Can sign Daichi Kamada for free

Feels like a deal we would strongly consider. Ange has great experience of the J-League, and had 5 Japanese/1 Korean players in his Celtic squad.

I thought we would target more players from Asia once Agne too over. Was disappointed we didnt get Lee Kang-In who is now at PSG.

Daniel Levy also loves a deal like this too.

You've mistaken him with another player - Kamada primarily plays centrally either as an AM next to Gotze behind Muani or further back next to Sow as a CM. He can play as a LW but he predominantly features centrally.

According to Transfermarkt.com, he has only played on the left in 6/297 matches.

I've never seen him play (at least not that I'm aware of), but it appears he would provide depth in Maddison's position rather than for Son / Kulusevski, but might also have the versatility to provide cover elsewhere. It could seem superfluous to buy another CAM in the same window as Maddison, while LCB remains the clear weakness, but we're going to need more than one CAM in the squad next season. Unless Ange retains Ndomebele or Lo Celso for this role, we surely need to sign another.

If we sell Lo Celso & Ndombele without signing another CAM, any time Maddison is unavailable / needs a rest, we'd need to either play someone out of position or change our formation...not ideal. In terms of the "play someone out of position" option:
1) Kane could drop into the no.10 role with Richarlison as the no.9.
2) Son could play off Kane centrally, with Solomon at LW.
3) Kulusevski could play CAM with Solomon / Richarlison at RW.
4) A CM could fill in at CAM (Bentancur would be the most obvious choice...once he recovers his fitness & form).

For a free transfer would definitely be a good option especially if Maddison is injured or needs a rest . Can definitely play in a variety of roles and has that bit of quality and experience to create chances even from the bench

If there's any actual truth the reports, I would be all for this deal to happen. It would certainly mean that at least 2 or maybe all three of Ndombele, GLC and PEH would have to leave to make room for Kamada - leaving us with Bissouma, Skipp, Sarr, Maddison, Bentancur, Kamada and possibly one of GLC/PEH/TN.
