But the fact that Archway are appealing has nothing to do with us needing to spend a year away from WHL. Clever spin by Levy et Cullen. Regardless of when the build starts, we'll still have a season where the final section of the new stadium needs to be completed an WHL needs to be demolished. We've already heard that the reasons for moving away for a year are the higher cost of a phased build and getting everything on site twice. Archway's appeal has enabled Levy to find a scapegoat for the fact we're moving away for a year - which has on been on the table for ages.

No doubt they've had contingency plans in place in the event of any further delay and I would have hoped they did, can't see the problem with that and I don't see any conspiracy.
The best option if we had to move for a year, seems to be the OS but West Ham and Spurs' fixtures coincide which means w they would have to change to alternate weeks which presumably has a knock on effect on the Arsenal, who would their fixtures have to coincide with and does that have an effect on say Chelsea? The simplest option therefore is surely the Emirates.
Mind you I'm still noy convinced we'll move away at all.

Ipswich would 'seriously consider' Tottenham approach to ground-share Portman Road

http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...oach-to-groundshare-portman-road-9728889.html

Ipswich say they will “seriously consider” any ground-share request from Tottenham.
Spurs’ new stadium is highly unlikely to be ready for the 2017/18 campaign, meaning the club will have to play their home games elsewhere.
Standard Sport revealed in July that Portman Road might be a potential destination for Spurs, who are also understood to be looking at Wembley, stadium:mk and the Olympic Stadium.
Tottenham’s chances of sharing the ground of another London club look increasingly slim, although the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) would entertain the idea of Spurs spending a season with West Ham at the Olympic Park.

A move 50 miles north to stadium:mk is expected to infuriate supporters, but Portman Road is situated a further 70 miles out from White Hart Lane and the Spurs board would face questions from the fanbase.
Nevertheless, Ipswich managing director Ian Milne said: “If we did receive a request to help, we would of course seriously consider any proposal.”

You'd think that Chelsea would offer to share for a reasonable price. I know we hate each other but they will be in the same boat when they want to build their stadium. They let us use theirs for a season then when they build theirs they share with us.

Their animal fans would absolutely ruin our nice new stadium so I doubt that would work..
