Of course - sign for Spurs and we'll get him back in the Spanish squad, just like we did for Soldado.

@Lufti How comes you rated one of my replies spam and one agree when they both alluded to something similar lol?

I rated it 'doh' because you're constantly bringing up your dislike for Soldado in pretty much every thread, regardless of what it's about. But your second post, I agreed with as it shows that Negredo was consistent last season and didn't perform over just 2-3 weeks

I do do that.
It's my way of trying to use a baseline for some members who say players like negredo are shit.

Well, I can't imagine you're gonna get much of a positive reaction to your first post, but your second is good haha

23 goals in 48 appearances vs 11 in 36.

And how many of the 48 did he start??
EDIT: Just checked - he started 28 out of the 48.

He had a barren spell, at which point Dzeko & Aguero were banging them in. Pretty hard to displace them then and I seem to think he spent a lot of time on the bench afterwards.
Not like he would have that issue with us seeing as our strikers just don't score!

Regardless though, it's in the Star which renders it bollocks!

This is ridiculous... In what world would City sell a striker they have had for one season, who performed pretty well in said first season and given that they are not conforming to FFP.

Oh yes that's right, they will sell him on the cheap and then what...? Splash 50m on another one will they?! Is that tomorrow's story?

Pffff...

One overpriced Spanish flop isn't enough?

Nine goals in just twenty one PL games is considered being a "flop"?

That in his first PL season? I would love a forward to play for Spurs who could score at that rate. Honest.

Not sure what his wage at Citeh is but I imagine it would be a 70k-100k drop to join us - so neeeeeeevvvvver gonna happen. Abroad if he moves I guess.

Behave... Negredo was a success at Man City and nothing would suggest they'd want to sell him.

Will not happen, but he certainly wasn't a flop. In fact when he was fit and firing he was a real threat. I'd take him at Spurs in a heartbeat, same as Dzeko, but I cant see it happening,

One Man City player worth taking a look is Micah Richards, who is available on the cheap and could play in central defence and full backs, both positions we need filled. His downside is his injury record and a sometime too aggressive nature. But still worth a look and perhaps a gamble.
