As it stands we'll struggle for top 4 let alone the league. Teams above, around, and below us have strengthened while we've done nothing. Last summer and Jan was the time to push on and we failed miserably. We're not 50/1 outsiders for nothing! We can only hope that Walker has a good impact, the strikers have the season of their careers, and Harry grows some balls.... then we may be lucky and sneak 4-5th.
Spot on. You can't expect the players to adopt a winning mentality from a manager without a winning mentality. We'll never fulfill our full potential with Harry at the helm. What WINNING manager spouts negative, mediocrity crap like Harry does?! NONE. "Not losing any sleep" over a 5th place finish, being "satisfied" with 0-0 draw with spammers, saying "just one of those days" every time we drew or lost a game,:roll:, saying we're going to "struggle" this season, Liverpool likely to "finish above us", "Europe a killer".... etc, etc, etc.. YAWN! These aren't words from a winner, and they don't breed winners either!
Yup, that should have been the philosophy last season. One of the best SQUADS in the league last season, but DIDN'T USE IT! Harry used less players last season than any other manager in the league, FACT!... what does that tell you?! Harry's never used a squad properly. He always has he's 'favourites' and will only use 15 of the 25 man squad consistently which then upsets certain squad members. He likes to 'play it safe', and lacks the good judgement and skills needed to rotate a FULL squad EFFECTIVELY. :bang:
