I bet we get Real Madrid

Personally I think a group with benfica, Leverkusen and ludogorets would be my favourite draw

We always knew that we would be in a group with the top seeds, we have been in European football on a regular basis and apart from the previous time when we were in Champions we have not actually actually achieved a lot. Personally I would rather play the good teams as that the may reason to be in the champion league to test your self against the best teams.

I assume we are in pot 3 due to our relative lack of experience in the Champions League compared to Arsenal and not because we lost out for 2nd place in the league to them?

Anyone else seen the combined team that they put in that article comparing HR's CL team and the current one? Interesting looking team, one thing I agree with massively, it's a big shame that we only had Crouch as our striker and not someone with Kane's ability. It's the only thing that held us back.

Yeah I'm not sure Gomes was that great either

That combined team, included a bench with Eriksen, Lamela, Dele Alli, Crouch, Vertonghen, Dembele, Corluka would easily be contenders for the title. Then and today(*) - what a team that would be!

(*) Obviously vdv and King wouldn´t make the team today, nor assouekotto.

I think that we're in pot 3 because we managed to come third in a two horse race.
