Think the record is 49, so he'd need 17 to beat it.

That's fine though, I'm sure he can get hat-tricks against Juve and Bournemouth if he pulls his finger out.

Doesn't he have 35 total in all competitions though?

EDIT: Apologies, I was looking at his goals and assists total :(

The total summary in post one makes fascinating reading with Dele Alli out in front on the assists and doing well with goals scored when many insist he has not been at his best this season.

I think it's because people often put more weight into goals than assists, and last season he scored a total of 22 whereas this season he'll get around half of that, but he's already surpassed last seasons assist total and i think his all round play has markedly improved as well.

So I guess I need to change the stats of the last game:

Harry Kane 1 goal
Christian Eriksen 1 goal 1 assist

So dembele dier wanyama combined have 3 assists and 1 goal?

Wow
I do think this is partly the way Pochettino sets up his teams. He’s never had central midfielders contributing to goals, from Schneiderlin and Wanyama, through Mason and Bentaleb to our current lot. He likes to have that solid double pivot to allow his front 4 the freedom to roam. And it works - our front 4 are scoring in buckets.

Bad loss, but good that Eriksen got his goal already. I know players like to get double digits goals in the league, especially midfielders. It also takes some heat off the Kane claim. It would be a bit annoying if Eriksen ended with 9 goals in the league because of the Kane goal. Now Eriksen is on 10 goals in the league, so it’s all good for our tram chemistry. (y)
