I'm not usually one for conspiracy theories but it really wouldn't surprise me to find out that someone with a vested interest in us not progressing was bankrolling all of this.

Anyone got access to Companies House to check out Archway's directors/appointments etc??

If we do leave for a season that's gonna have a massive, maybe even fatal, impact on other local businesses in the area which would dwarf what archway will lose. I think the govt have to step in here and do something. I doubt many of the busiesses that rely on home games will be able to survive a year without spurs income

Chick king will be done for!

Archway have behaved in a way that has, and will, affect the prosperity and growth of the entire area for many years to come.

As for where we play, as horrible as it would be, I think we should play at the gooners home for that year. Easy for us all to get to, more than meets capacity and facility needs, and we play alternate weekends with arsenal anyway. We'd probably make more net income after paying rent to them for a year than ground sharing with anyone else anyway.

This is an extremely valid point and really well made. It`s why, I, personally, believe the club will not be moving anywhere.

Maybe Cain Hoy are funding Archway, that's if it is an actual hostile takeover.
you can't have a hostile take over when one party Owens the vast majority of shares. Lewis can't be forced to relinquish control.

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

The best thing that can happen is for Archway's appeal not to get clogged up in the system for months and months.

Wouldn't surprise me if they were actually based in Archway originally (gooners) and moved here.

That fat cow Karren Brady is now saying she would block any attempt by Spurs to play home games at the Olympic Stadium. God I hope that shitty pikey team get relegated and end up playing games in a half empty place with no atmosphere. ****s.

West Ham would likely block any move from Tottenham Hotspur to ground-share at the Olympic Stadium, according to Hammers' vice-chairman Karren Brady.

West Ham move into the Olympic Stadium in the summer of 2016, while Spurs could be looking for a temporary home while their new stadium next to White Hart Lane is constructed in 2017-18.

"No-one has asked us for our permission (to ground-share) and if they did we would probably say no, depending on who it is - if you get my drift," Brady, 45, said.

"We are the anchor tenant for the winter matches and nothing else can happen in that time without our permission.

"Our football matches take priority over everything else."
