There is probably a quota Mullers, i would think every PL club has a quota of youth players to release every season, Levy won't have a clue who in our youth teams has the technical, mental and physical ability to make it in the first team squad.
I don't get why you even bought Levy into it............ again!!!!!!!!!!!
How do you know that?
I explained why I brought Levy into it.

Do you really think our chairman spends his time deciding which youth team players to keep and release? really? just think about that logically.

You know it doesn't make any sense but your trying to bring Levy into it regardless.

Not all day but it is possible that he does spend some time thinking about it. I'm only speculating that he may be involved in the decision. I don't know why you are taking such offence to it.

The problem is Mullers whenever you bring Levy into a debate it's not "speculation", it's agenda driven, as it goes i can't think of any youth team players we have released under ENIC that have been snapped up by another PL team and made their squad, so, whoever has made these decisions has been making them correctly.

I'm not saying that the decisions are incorrect I'm merely speculating at this time, that Levy made those decisions. What's wrong with that?

You bring Levy into most things.

No harm in speculating but i can't believe you think Levy would muck around with his busy schedule deciding the future of youth team players, it's not logical.
First team where the big money is we all know he sticks his finger in that pie, youth team, can't see it, that's not to say he doesn't sign off on it but we have a raft of academy coaches making these decisions.

But what is the agenda you think I have?
Why wouldn't Levy be interested in the future of youth team players?
He is part owner, surely he's interested in everything that goes on? The success of they youth set up is very important as we cannot throw money around like the richer clubs.

I didn't say he wasn't interested did i, your changing the goalposts now, i said he wouldn't be involved in deciding who to release, as the arguments i have laid out previously.

As for your agenda i don't know what it is with Levy, but there is always a feeling you want to pin every single negative on him regardless.

I asked you how do you know he isn't involved? I'am only speculating that he is involved, I have no proof that he is or isn't, do you?

There is no agenda, I give him criticism if I feel he deserves it.

Do you think Levy goes to academy games? academy training? and assesses the players?
If the answer is no then why is it not safe to assume our coaches in the academy make the decisions on who is not good enough and present a list to Levy who signs off on it, considering how well run our academy is he might just trust others judgement on this matter.

It's certainly possible.

I don't think it's random, he may have consulted with those people and then made the decision. He did buy players when we had no coach or DOF so logically there is a chance he made the decision.
I suppose it works like every company. The people directly in charge of the youth squads make their decisions, but ultimately those above them can accept those decisions or not. So, if Levy is interested in these questions obviously he can overrule any decisions taken below him. Hopefully he has enough confidence in his people to delegate these sort of decisions, but you never know. Micro-management is all the rage these days!
