Was this really the only other option that we had ? Talk about making life bloody difficult in trying to play ourselves back into form and getting back into the top 4. Two games in 48 hours and one away. Why is that fate always deals us a hand where we nearly always have some kind of disadvantage when we play West Ham. In recent years we either have to play them with 10 men or circumstances mean we have to rotate our squad and we never seem to have a fully fit strongest 11 when we play them !!!
