So, off I go on the last convenient, Saturday home KO of the season... My routine of train to Waterloo, paper and a coffee, tube up, burger off Wembley way, sat down nice and early to watch the warm up, then chat and beers after.

To be replaced with mad rush to get bairn from nursery, hope the missus gets home before 6, then charge up on tube packed with commuters for a bonkers scheduled match for the TV bods who don't give the remotest fuck about the whole point of professional football... The fans.

All I hope is that if/when we score, whoever scores pretends to be the referee waiting for a VAR decision and all the team mates gather round the scorer for at least 4 minutes before eventually celebrating the goal.

Missing the game today been down with flu and five hours of travelling plus the game is probably not a good idea with my non stop cough. Sadly have to make do with a radio commentary.
