Stat of the day - @SpursOfficial boss Mauricio Pochettino if he wins today becomes the first non-european manager to win 100 Premier League matches. Follow the game with me and @RealRomfordPele on @talksportmdl
What was watching the game with Parlour like then?

Solid performance and just did as we needed today ahead of a massive game v juve.
However...i cant have been the only one to notice how virtually every ball into dele's feet ended up in us losing possesion? Just make it stick lad goodness. Very frustrating.
Roll on Juve...will be a very tense affair.

Strange that no one has picked up the absolutely blatant penalty we should have had when Son got pulled down.
He was offside, but that was a definite penalty otherwise.
Should've been given really as the offside was missed.

Lamela is a strange one. He has the skill of a freestyle artist but is technically limited. He simply cannot use his right foot, his first touch is poor and he does not have tactical awareness to compensate for these limitations (like a Ryan Giggs). He frustratingly almost inevitably loses the ball in key attacking areas.

He is strangely almost more beneficial defensively - full of aggressive running and tackling, covering significant ground off the ball and provides fairly decent circulation in deep positions - which is why Poch puts him on when he wants to increase intensity. Useful in particular games where we already have creative outlets. Frustrating in games where we are looking for additional creativity and ball retention.

Lucas Moura is a significant upgrade. Wonderful attacking creative touch and movement, good finishing ability and running. Really looking forward to see him completely settled in and playing regularly. Dan Levy got us a great deal there.

Not taking away from the definite penalty but I thought Son had an opportunity to get the shot away before he was fouled.

I did say a couple of times this week we won’t get another penalty in the league this season. Today was the start of that I suspect.

I would agree with this but actually makes Lamela suited to the bigger games / harder teams where his high intensity press helps us keep the game higher up the pitch but less so when teams are parking the bus - Son and Moura much more suited

Would love to see a front three of Son, Moura and Christian tried out at some point

Did this look like a team that would give us a game today? We had 80% possession and could easily have had 4-5 goals if we would have gone for it.
I was at Wembley and I was quite impressed with Huddersfield. They were very well organized and stuck really well to their game plan throughout. I thought the movement of their strikers was good and gave us problems at times. I can see how they've done well against less able teams. Shame about Pritchard getting injured.

2 completely different player firstly. Secondly lamelas touch is usually superb and instant. Today he came on and was a tad sloppy but even so he offered a lot in attack and defence.
Id argue his touch is better than alli and sons and his ball retention is pretty great. Tactically he is clever making risky passes that pay dividends.
Today when he came on there was a moment where is was battling on the touchline and ge totally outsmarted a player and came away with the ball with virtually zero room to manoeuvre. He made it look as though he was going to let the ball roll out and last moment boom he came alive and totaly sold the guy a dummy and toes it round him and he was away. He is an artist you are right in that sense.

Could see clearly from the upper tier that the defender had his hand around his ankle. I was actually laughing.

Lame performance from the ref today, totally buying I to the diving rep bollocks. Which is hilarious as I saw Davies win two very clever freekicks... He just knows how to go to ground convincingly.
According to Schwarzer on R5, it was a penalty but he was in an offside position, which the assistant had missed.
