How many of you honestly had us to qualify from the group? Gutted yes, but moreso proud.

We've played and at the very least matched most of the top sides in world football in the last 6 months.

Now we can concentrate on winning the FA Cup and cementing another craic at these Italian ****s next season!

Completely agree. Head will remain high tomorrow, nothing to be ashamed of in that performance. Still plenty to play for this season.

We were better in 150 of 180 minutes, but Juventus were utterly ruthless and also denied a penalty.

We sadly lack that ruthlessness that the vertly best and most experienced sides have.

And I hate to single out individuals, but Dier's involvement in 1-1 was scandalous. He is following Higuain all the way, completely in control, but then starts ball-watching at the worst possible moment. You can't make errors like that at the highest level.

Poch should have taken Dier off at half time. We didn't need wounded in the pitch. Wanyama should have been bought on.

On a side note, its easier to say after the game, but i think the majority of us were surprised not to see Rose start & im afraid Davies was suspect in the second half defensively.

I dont care what anyone said, we bottled that last 35mins. Start of the 2nd half they were racking up yellow cards for fun and were rattled. Shit defending cost us.

Pochettino’s inability to react to them changing formation quick enough cost us tonight. Disappointing.

We won’t get a better chance. Proper blew it.

They’re a top side, and we’re inexperienced at this level. It was a big improvement on last season in the CL.

No excuses for the second half but we were unlucky to get Juve at this stage having won the group.

Mate the fallout from that defeat will likely fuck our season completely, can’t underestimate how much of a knock on effect that might have.

We have yet to prove we have the mentality to get over the line.

I am fuming, how can you have what is essentially a 2 goal lead at home in the CL and lose the game in the manner we did? I know Juve are a fantastic side but I just don’t understand how we can be so utterly dominant and then concede and lose the way we did.

Poch didn’t react to the changes Juve made, that was a massive part of the problem.

So proud of the lads, yes its gutting to lose that way but the lads put in 100% effort, cant fault them.

I do think Poch fucked up today though with his Subs and not reacting, Fergie of old (who poch is compared with) would not have sat watching it slip away, whereas Poch did and he will learn from it (I hope)

But, we must get more clinical, as we know we will hear from players and Poch that we shouldn't have lost that and they are right but we have to improve in terms of finishing, we have been woeful for too long in finishing teams off, it nearly cost us vs arsenal a few weeks ago, it did cost us tonight

So you would rather we focus on getting to a competition than actually be in it? WTF Bullshit tonight no matter what spin you put on it.

For financial reward and to attract players to the club. We are not at the level of Barca, Madrid, City, Bayern. The fact that we can give each of those teams a good fight (we are better than Juve, they are more clinical and have experience but will get ripped apart from other teams) is good enough for me considering that we are a club punching well above our weight.

The only thing Poch should have done was got another midfielder on after Asamoah crossed that initial ball. But it was a very difficult call to make to be fair to him.

I don`t think it was a difficult call if you are top level you see what the opposition does and react with a shape change or personnel change. This happens a lot with Poch to be honest

Better chance at what? I'm quite certain spurs will get to a cl qf again . Or better chance at winning the whole thing? All the best teams are still in it. Don't agree with either

Here we are again. Doesn't matter how good we are, we're losers who'll always fail when it matters.

We're playing one of the top sides in Europe, twice finalists in the last 3 years, who are vastly more experienced as group of players than we are.

We outplayed them for the majority of the two legs.

We needed to take our chances in that first half tonight but your statement is fucking ridiculous.

Some people acting like we lost to a championship team :) lovely

Juve are quality but we bossed them for 160 minutes over the tie and should have won.

Silver lining; we should have a free run to securing top 4 and another crack at it next season. This team usually picks itself up quickly.

To be honest I don't think this showed us anything we didn't know.

On our day we can match anyone and we dominated a top team for 90% of the time over two legs and we should be proud of how we played in this comp.

Our weakness is our in-game craft and adapting our play to the situation. The counter attacking against real and Dortmund shows we can change tactically but in game we only know one way.

We must be back In this comp to reinforce our burgeoning reputation.

Good effort from us this year. We have achieved so much. I wasn't expecting us to do great in this competition with Wembley our stadium this year, but we have proved our ability against 2 of the best teams in Europe. Let's learn from this and get wiser and better.

Concentrate on the FA Cup and qualifying for next years Champions League now.
