We've made three changes from the loss at Watford a fortnight ago - Rose for Davies, Dier for Sanchez and Winks for the injured Dele. Winks makes his first league start since December following his well-publicised ankle problems earlier this year.

Match: English Premier League (EPL) - Match day 5

When: Saturday, 15th September 2018

Where: Wembley Stadium

Kick Off: 1230 pm

Referee: Michael Oliver

Form: Spurs LWWWL Liverpool WWWWW (In all competitions)

We have won just one of our last 11 EPL games against L'pool (D4, L6), though it was a 4-1 victory in this exact fixture last season. L'pool have only failed to score in one of their last 12 EPL meeting with us - a 0-0 draw in Klopp's first game in charge of them in October 2015.

There have been 149 goals scored in EPL meetings between us and L'pool - Arsenal vs Everton is the only fixture to have seen more in the competition (151). There have been more penalties awarded in the EPL matches between us and L'pool than there have in any fixture in the competitions history (22). Liverpool have won nine of their fifteen EPL games in London under Jurgen Klopp (W9, D3, L3), though they are yet to beat us on the road under the german.

We lost against Watford on Matchday 4, but haven't suffered consecutive EPL losses since the final two games of 2015-2016 season. Salah scored all three of L'pools goals against Tottenham in the EPL last season. Kane has been directly involved in 7 goals in 7 EPL appearances against L'pool (5 goals, two assists), including four in the last two.

Its official that so far Spurs will be without our Captain Hugo Lloris and Deli Ali for this fixture.

If given a draw now I would take it

No way.

We did them at home last year, they have looked distinctly average so far in the league, we have been beating pretty much everyone at Wembley for about a year. For once I'm actually feeling positive about this one.

Nah fuck it - I want us to torment those fuckers and beat them to a pulp. I want all those Rawkers crying their tits off. I want a 6 1 hammering for them.
6 corrupt ref. assisted goals to 1 honest goal of the year as it would be known on RAWK.

Just a heads up to anyone going to the game to check the OS about travel. No underground between Baker st and Aldgate at all and anyone coming from Essex and beyond, trains running ok from Chelmsford but beyond that nada, replacement buses and same goes past Shenfield on the Southend line. One way or the other if you're coming in from the east they've got you by the nuts. Good luck everyone.:)

So negative. One poor game and result and we're shit again lol.

Would you have taken a draw in this game if it followed directly after the United game?

Nope, thought not.

These are the games we do really 'turn' up for.

I think it mostly depends on what we do without the ball.

Whether we are looking to push higher up the pitch and press, or sitting deep behind the ball and playing on the counter (as we did last season), it's got to be done as a collective and everyone pulling their weight (plus a sensible shape/formation to reflect the tactics).

If we get what we've largely got so far this season... Too open between the lines, poor pressing as both a team and individuals, allowing the opposition far too much easy space to exploit and then eventually give up numerous chances... Then it wont be a pleasant watch at all I suspect. This game we need to have a really strong team performance and arrive into the new season.

Am actually glad we have this game now after the dissapointment of the Watford game, we have a chance to really show the rest of the league we still mean business and against the team that are favourites to challenge City.

A shame that Lloris will be out, but am I right in thinking everyone else is available apart from Sissoko and Foyth? With the assumption we'll again see Winks and Wanyama and having Lamela and Son returning.

Liverpool supporters in midweek saying "Dele and Lloris were not injured" and will play on sat and that spurs were lying cheating c...s
Liverpool had three genuine injuries but we know what happens next Liverpool,s three are fit and spurs two are injured these muppets need explaining to in that a lie is not telling the truth something they are very adept at.

Im not normally the pessimistic type BUT. ...

I am never confident when Vorm is in goal I don't really trust him to not make errors and I'm not certain our back line does either.

I can't abide this team it's irrational I know but my dislike for them is beyond any spurs rivalries mainly down to the fact that if we lose I will not be able to watch tv pick up my phone or even go out without seeing or listening to the whiney whinging feck wads for about 3 months.:cautious:
