Last time when we looked good is when Kane was injured. We looked fluid, great movement and unpredictable.

Now we are just slow and ponderous.

We are playing a very good Liverpool side, who have improved immensely season on season. There is a time when we simply have to admit that we are simply second best against some teams.

After all we are playing against a team who have spent one hundred and fifty million on their defence this past two seasons, the sort of money that that we can only dream about spending.

This isn't one of those teams though, I really don't think it is. Liverpool haven't even been that great and they haven't had to be, we've afforded them so much space down the flanks that we've made it easy, far too easy for them.

I'm not surprised to be honest. Half the squad had no pre-season thanks to the World Cup. No rest. No new players to freshen up the squad. Uncertainty over where we're playing. I think this will be a very hard season and I can see us finishing 5th. Hopefully I'm wrong.
