Utter fucking dross, been like that since the start of the season too.

Find 11 fucking players and stick with them (barring injury)

Tired of reading/hearing what people 'think' might have/be happening behind the scenes that may or may not be effecting/affecting what is happening on the pitch. Unless you were privy to what actually fucking happened then all you can go on is what is happening on the pitch (right now) and for the most part it's been shite. Cracks papered over with results to start the season and now it's looking like toss.

That used to be one of Pochettinos strenghs knowing and mostly playing his best team, not now

Let's be honest, the final score massively flattered us. The Dippers weren't even on it today. We are not suddenly a poor team but Poch has failed tactically in the last 2 fixtures. It's never been a strong point of his and today grandma's dentures taught us a massive lesson.

What Poch has been good at is motivating the players. We have a nice run of games coming up to get things back on track. I'm disappointed with Poch more than the players because that system and line up was never going to work against Liverpool's front 3. It's happened before and while I can forgive mistakes but I have a lot less patience when the same mistake is repeated.

Just seen a replay of that penalty incident on Sonny at the end?
An absolute stonewall penalty.
Oliver completely bottled it.
Could have got away with a draw.?
On to Milan.

This season is the perfect storm of world cup hangover and lack of investment, couple with Poch stubbornly playing a system that does not suit us, and some players completely out of form.

I have long suspected that Levy would, sooner or later, think "we're good enough, we don't need to invest this summer" and look at the fucking consequences.

It's diabolical that we didn't improve the team and squad this summer. Liverpool did, and it shows. They weren't even at 80% today but we looked fucking awful.

Moura doesn't play for England and kane has been shit for the national team as well and doing the same dropping deep with them.

I don't care what has happened in the last 4 seasons I just look at now and all I see is a player that there is simply something badly wrong with and is massively impacting the fluidity of our forward play.

He has to be taken out of the team as keep playing him adds to the fatigue rumours and if it is keep playing him isn't going to solve it.

What's your suggestion then??
I agree - when Kane was injured last season the team looked a different proposition and looked bloody good. Like you said I don't care what Kane has done over the past 4 years, what matters is now. Spurs to me is more than one player and until Kane finds his form, gets a good rest or whatever is needed to bring him back to his best, then we need to utilise other options. Son, Lamela & Moura have enough about them to lead the line imo.

That was seriously worrying, I can only remember 1 time last season where we were totally outplayed and that was against the champions. Only silver lining is we somehow only lost by 1 goal.

Poch is wrong we obviously do need players and he needs to look at his tactics and in game management.
People are blaming a lot of things in here, but THE KEY reason we lost today was unforced errors.

We either manage the players properly who mostly make them and exclude them from starting key games, or we will continue to fuck ourselves in games that we control and should win.

Liverpool had nothing today and looked at 65% of what they can produce. A lot of that, in the first half, was due to us gaining a firmer and firmer grip.

Then we randomly decide to bend over and offer them our arse.

Just cannot do that.

It cannot be over looked we gave away chance after chance due to the way we setup and sloppy midfield play.. All the bottom teams know how to nullify Liverpool`s attack by playing solid and deep... yet we setup with 2 CB and 2 Wing Backs playing high unbelievable.

Sorry but I've been saying this for months.

Was the wrong starting line up. We replaced Ali with Winks, which just meant we had far less attacking threat. Should have started with Lamela or Son. Also if we are gonna play Winks, it most definitely should not be on the left of a midfield diamond. I don even blame him for his performance. No one comes out with any credit from that game, the score line massively flattered us.

Dembeles regression has fucked us real good. Everyone of us on here knew it and we completely fucking ignored it.
Plus Dier offering little in midfield and Wanyama and Winks' injuries, I cannot believe that we did not strengthen in midfield. I refuse to believe there weren't players we could have got. Maddison, Seri to name just two.

We were second best team today and we were lucky not to lose by a higher score. Vorm was absolutewlky crap yet again, hope he gets demoted t our third keeper choice. Harry Kane was yet again crap. The only player who performed well again is Moura. Title contenders, not a chance in a million years.

Good point.

This is something I've mentioned a few times - poch needs to control our fullbacks better and in games like this just tell one to mostly sit if the other goes, unless the oppo is totally ragged.
