You are right fella but it has had an undeniable impact on the club a stich up of monumental proportions but yes I hear your argument.

There might actually be a link between the two
Nah you just can't let go of it, he has players as his disposal that he knows better than anyone yet the dross being served up at the moment you'd have thought we'd bought a whole new team.

Cling onto it all you want, it's gone.

I havent seen us mis place so many passes in years. Half the time it seemed it was unforced as well. Over 100 times? Not good.

We need Wanyama back and fully fit

Liverpool have strengthened well so let's put that into perspective. They're second favourites for the title.

Saying all this we should have had a penalty at the end as well

It's a question of managing players that make consistent errors, better.

Irt starting them, monitoring confidence levels and reading and tracking their game.

We should bring Amos in more and stir things up and I still think Foyth would turn out to be a very handy DM if given the opportunity.

Give players something to think about and motivation to sharpen their concentration and attitude.

In lieu of replacing them - which we're clearly not going to this season - I'd attempt the above.
Awful lot of responsibility on players who will make more mistakes than the senior ones we are a club that is now left slightly in the shit with no visible means of escape at the moment.

Poch can complain and give disdainful looks all he wants, but for his style of play he needs 11 motivated, fit, hungry, energetic players who will want to work, want to press, want to get at teams, and that is before we get to putting superior footballing ability to good use.

Right now I think the best thing he could do is get back to basics and apply that. If there are players right now who cant do it, wont do it, for whatever reason, then whoever they are and whatever their status have the bollocks to drop them until they can/will. If that means, as examples, the selection of Sissoko, or a hungry kid like Luke Amos, who you know will get around the centre of the park offering you 150%, then so be it.

The whole team looks like it needs a shot of adrenalin. In my eyes selections/formations so far this season have largely been to try and compensate for certain individuals, but if you still end up carrying passengers week after week you will get punished eventually by teams and not always be able to outgun them. Maybe it's a blip and all will be well in a few weeks, maybe more substantial change is needed, but he needs to find the solutions quickly because it's been a pattern in all our games so far.

That was a waste of money and time. I don't know what's wrong with the team but there was so many unforced errors, nobody other than Moura looked like they could put a driving run in. Just totally crap, and to concede two goals like that.

i didnt see the game because i knew we were going to lose. No shame in losing to a better club with bigger ambitions than us.

coys
We are the new arsenal a team that sees 4th place as an achievement and a bus parade although this year it's back to 5th or 6th place as per our normal place.

You won't find anything out about them playing with our other units. Foyth is one that was wanted by Poch, time to throw him in. Fuck all point having potential but worrying if they make mistakes. They'll either have it, or they won't.

Lamela should start games from here on in.

I’m not usually his biggest fan, but I agree.
Let's be honest, the final score massively flattered us. The Dippers weren't even on it today. We are not suddenly a poor team but Poch has failed tactically in the last 2 fixtures. It's never been a strong point of his and today grandma's dentures taught us a massive lesson.

It always takes spurs a few weeks to get the revs up. Although I've always wondered what poch does to players in pre season. The human body can only sustain a physical battering for so.long, before you carry the fatigue with you into games.

Unless there is some sort of group psychological malaise that has set in. Losing to a side like Liverpool is no disgrace, but the effort factor should never enter the equation. Some of the players look really jaded. Kane and Dier especially .

Positives:
1) We only lost 2-1 to the Champions probably
(Mind you I said that last week)
2) We will never play as badly again.
I think I've said that before too.
3) We didn't waste any money.
4) Dier may have started his last game for Spurs in midfield
Another repeat point.
5) Bus Conductor is no longer with us to analyse
