Lamela hasn't been good but he's always working hard for the team. At least he still does that when he's having an off day which is appreciated.
I have been one of his biggest critics in terms of transfer value to good performances ratio, but his efforts since return to injury have been admirable.

Very poor, we just haven't learned from Liverpool. When you win the ball against City you've got to break forward quickly. Too often we won it and played back to the defence and keeper.

Still, we've got a chance if the percieved wisdom is true, that City are fading in games.

BTW - I was ignoring the thread early, but saw some complaints about the Pen given to City, as outside the box - if Moss does not award the Pen there, Lloris probably sees red. Rather concede the goal, than play the rest of the match with 10 men.
No, he was making an honest attempt to get the ball, would've still been a yellow.

And tiger, Hugo lucky he wasn't sent off

Too me, he looks more nervous and impulsive and it's affecting his game

Although Lloris faul was outside penalty box, I think if the referee would see it and give a free kick, Lloris would be out with red card. That was awful challange. This is probalby his worst season in Spurs shirt.

Much better at the end. Son and Lucas has to come on In the second half, we need pace. This game is far from over we can still win this COYS

Not sure about Lucas, I don't think he's ready for this brand of premier league.

Midweek is perfect for him

lamela and trippier really hasn't worked that half, they don't seem to know how to play together . that's what I would change. shame we don't have a sub for davies either as hes been rash on a booking

Need to either go with a back 3 in the second or 433 with a flat three in the midfield. They're making Lamela, Eriksen and Alli redundant when they have the ball.

Would also like to see Son on, but he'll probably wait a while for that.

I viewed a draw as a decent result. So one more goal is what I would like.

What is it that Liverpool have that we and United don't? I feel like we're being schooled.
United were down 2-0 at half...

Liverpool are a better attacking squad, lots of player movement, lots of ball movement, and, right now, they are better with the press.

Can't remember Lloris saving important 1v1 ..

And Trippier can't handle it, however not confident Aurier would as well.

Btw did anyone see Dele? Is he playing?

Spurs were marginally worse than Moss, English referees are complete toilet at the moment.

Trippier & Davies having a shocker.

We need Son to stretch the pitch and we obviously haven’t learnt from Liverpool.

Poch really fucked up today.

Can anyone track the last 20 penalties we’ve faced? I’d swear Lloris has dived the wrong way for 19 of them. It’s uncanny - he never even gets close.
It's been 59 games since we last conceded a penalty in the PL. Do it yourself.

No, he was making an honest attempt to get the ball, would've still been a yellow.

Doesn't matter if it was honest, it is whether it was deemed reckless. He flew out at full speed and was definitely out of control when he made the challenge. So we couldn't have complained if it was a read. Davies's was a definite red.....
