Sterling has mugged off Sanchez time and time again tonight, and he isn't the only one. He's had a nightmare. As have the rest of the back 4, Vertonghen aside (obviously. Never has a bad game)

Would be fun one day to watch Moura start a PL match when he’s ready. Just seems like a very exciting player.

Just a really disappointing poor performance from start to finish.
Out fought, out thought and outclassed by a team on a completely different level to us. 1 shot (if you can even call it that) on goal all night. Pretty embarrassing. Lucky they played midweek or it would have been alot more than 3. The only positive to take from tonight is at least we don’t play them again this season.

Well so what? They're the best attacking side I've seen in this country. There's no shame in conceding to them. Best team won, move on.

We know that we can play so much better than this. To be honest, City haven’t looked that good. We’ve just been well below our usual standard. They way City played. Had we turned up, could’ve been a different story.

...well, it’s what I’m choosing to believe anyway ?

Honestly Kazaiah Sterling should’ve come on instead of Sissoko, not that Sissoko has done anything wrong but Kane shouldn’t be playing 90 minutes, he’s clearly not fit and hasn’t offered us anything today, he’s just jogging around. Kazaiah Sterling would’ve chased every ball, be hungry and give him confidence and hunger to play more.

First loss in the PL this year, against by far the better opposition is not too shabby in my mind.

Sometimes you just have to man up and accept the best team won, and today that was the case.
I am ok with that - but then we, as a team, have to take the decisions to close that gap. Means some tough decisions ahead this summer.

Bad day at the office. Never looked like we believed we could get anything from the game. Sluggish and devoid of ideas. Too many players anonymous and Lloris just bad.
