Any fullback in the league and as many in Europe can be tarred with that brush. That City side are over a season unbeatable, so bloody obvious and trying to shame one player is naive on the extreme.

I understand the being caught out bit, but giving the ball away all the time isn’t acceptable, Aurier should have played.

We can't keep clean sheets. It's becoming a problem

Looks pretty consistent with where we are:

Weird performance.

Hugo. Not sure anymore.

It’s days like this that you can’t afford to have Kane and Alli miles off the pace.

Dembele and Dier in treacle.

Structure, lack of let us down. After 10 minutes in the first half it seems to me we were too stretched between midfield and defence. When we were being overwhelmed and the opposition is making chances (same happened in 2nd leg Juventus) I want to see the manager doing things to address this. He doesn't seem to know what to do in these circumstances.

How I dislike Manchester Titty. And that Tit Mierdaiola, that mama's boy. Dislike him too. And Kyleene Stalker, and InSane, all of them. But who really gets to me is that ... that ... gentleman ... Mr. Moss. His fattyness and uglyness is only surpassed by his blissful lack of interaction between any two braincells at any given time.

Might be wrong but I thought they made it so the top 4 are auto qualified now?
The only way Spurs miss the CL finishing 4th is if Chelsea finish 3rd, Liverpool 5th, and both Liverpool and Arsenal win in Europe.

But Chelsea isn't finishing 3rd and Liverpool 5th.

What a frustrating game! Liverpool showed everyone how to play and win against City and we didn't seem to learn from it!

Verts (and Moura) aside poor performances from our boys, although cant fault Eriksens running.

One thought does Dier offer anything at all to our team at the mo?

This is what is so aggravating about that performance. We are better than Liverpool, they play in a similar style to us, but they had the courage to believe in their play style enough to beat Shitty 3 times this season. I am perplexed as to what we were trying to achieve out there. That wasn’t the Tottenham we’ve all been used to seeing this season.

I have no idea how some here are thinking we played that badly.. We were in full control of the game start of 2nd half until their third goal. And they were shit with their finishing. Sterling is a joke. He missed so many chances he's lucky to still have the minutes.

All the lads put ij their best today but I'm not sure if Hugo can do better tbh.. One would really expect him as the captain to be more reliable.. But now Vert is really the most reliable one out there.

We cannot afford to have Hugo having some lapses at the back and Kane not even involved from the front.. Kane must play his natural game, if not he will just be getting isolated it is becoming too predictable... Kane oh Kane..

Full control of the game despite having no shots when we needed a goal?

Very poor from Spurs, played into their hands from the start, Tuesday night against Brighton won't be easy either.

Poch didn't learn from the last meeting with City.

Considering we have Brighton on Tuesday and then the FA Cup we should have played it conservatively and looked to counter. Should have packed the fuck out of the midfield and started Son for an outlet when they turn over the ball. For me that was the only logical ploy.

Playing on the counter is not parking the bus and abandoning all principles, hindsight is a wonderful thing but on reflection I think that's how he should have approached it given the circumstances.

Need a win Tuesday to pick ourselves up for the weekend. Maureen is the cup game king and if we play like we did today we will be easily beaten.

We were bad, the ref was dreadful but we're still going to get CL and can still win the FA Cup. All is not lost
we wont get past utd playing like that. looked unprepared tonight, where was the aggression and tempo from a few weeks back. our back 5 worry me, make so many errors and caught out with straight passes all the time.

I don't like them at all...well their fans really.

But disagree, Tottenham glasses off and neatly put away...gotta say pool are better nearly all round bar a few areas

Not sure why the fuck Lloris dove the wrong way for the penalty, Gundogan’s body position he’d have to dislocate his hips to have put it the way Lloris dove
