The goal kick had to be retaken because a Rochdale player ran through the penalty area and challenged a Spurs player while the ball wasn't in play. It results in the goal kick being retaken.

But there was nothing wrong with the penalty? It was his stupid run-up which was the problem.

He's also a senior striker and probably wants hattrick. I can't see any problem with him having penalty duties at all.

It's illegal to stop in the run up to taking a penalty. The ref is right to disallow the goal and book Son.
