Can't think of a single reason to sign him now, but there's quite a few why we shouldn't.

Can't think of a single reason to sign him now, but there's quite a few why we shouldn't.
  1. Doesn't play in a position we need.
  2. Has flopped at his current club.
  3. Multiple teammates, coaches, former players, pundits, fans etc. have criticised his attitude.
  4. High wages (circa £100k).
  5. Currently injured.
Any more to add?

1. Didn't he play at Milan as a cm? If so, he definitely would be an improvement over Hojbjerg, something we definitely need.
2. Has he flopped or has he merely been injured for most of the time plus Xavi choosing to play him as a forward to not be forced to bench his mate Busquets?
3. I think that mostly was when he was trying to get his transfer, but I doubt he's attitude could be as bad as, say, Ndombele's.
4. That's the type of wages we need to be paying if we want to remain competitive.
5. I think he was already started to come back from his injury the weeks prior the start of the WC, if I'm not mistaken.

Upgrading on Hojbjerg (and Bissouma who is currently behind him in the pecking order) is hardly our top priority. He's been on of our best and most consistent performers. We've already signed two CMs under Conte to so I would expect him to be focused on other areas in January.

£100k p.w. is not a lot for a player who improves our starting lineup, but it is a lot for a rotation player - which is all I would expect Kessie to be.

What happened with this fella?

As in my post, or Frank Kessie ??

Kessie for me, is mediocre at best every time I've seen him play.

My post... highlights this by its response suggesting a long post is not needed as to describe reasons for not signing him. :D

It was, dare I say, me highlighting my thoughts on this notion of a signing, nothing to do with what @Japhet had actually written. Although it appears his sentiments are the same, so his post lent itself rather nicely to the crap humour attempted.

Right, now let me get my Sugar Puffs bumfluff before posing any more questions. ? XXX

P.S Only questions where I understand what you are actually asking. Put me right off my advent calender choccie this morning you have. I mean, WTF, who actually does that. :stop:

I was asking about kessie ? I've never seen him play and thought he'd been up to some shenanigans. Apologies for ruining your advent choc ?

I was jesting mate.

Regarding Kessie. Every time I've watched him play, he's up and down, but it's almost as if he's running parallel with any gi en player as opposed to moving in and attempting a tackle.

Seems to spend alot of energy not really doing anything of note. I certainly think we could do better.
