"DL's interest in developing a commercial relationship between THFC and the NFL is actively being explored."

Don't think it would be a London franchise (at least yet, if these rumours are even true). Think that the NFL teams are not too happy using Wembley (changing rooms etc... not adequate). So are looking to move their London games.

Agree. I hope Levy's not banking on a franchise as it's highly unlikely to happen any time soon.

Taking Wembley's games could be lucrative

I dont see any reason why not, I mean from around week 28 we seem to dissapear anyway, so the NFL team would have plenty of room etc.

Not to nitpick, but the article mentions a (singular) large changing room. Do both NFL teams change in the same room ? Given the size of the squads & support staff it'd need to be a pretty big room !!

As long as there is an artificial roll-out pitch, I've got no problem with an NFL tennant. Would raise our staus in the US, and generate income. 8 home games is very workable, plus possibly 2 more if in the play-offs.

presumably the two smaller dressing rooms in the other stand can be opened up into a larger one

Levy is really going for that U.S market. Under Armour being the first step. If you've ever been to the states in the last 4-5 years then you'll know the Yanks fucking LOVE their Under Armour's. They've all got it on, from small kids it O.A.P's

Having NFL games and a potential franchise would be a massive step in the right direction given the growing popularity of the game of hand egg in the UK. (I'm not a huge fan. More of an NBA guy to be honest)

Prof posted early this morning on COYS that he understands a deal from NFL to co-host international games with Wemis on Levy's desk to sign!

:ROFLMAO: The mascots changing room is massive. Chirpy is going to be well chuffed.

Could the big massive changing room in the east stand be for cheer leaders?

Nice to see they're future-proofing for when female officials aren't a rarity. Suppose they'll use the female officials changing room as storage until then.

I haven't been keeping up but surely someone has mentioned that Niger Petra = Black rock/stone? Blackrock is a huge asset manager and has a private equity operation whereas Blackstone is one of the largest private equity organisations in the world. Both manage hundreds of billions/trillions of dollars so could easily acquire Spurs. This is the first thing that came to mind when I read that ITK

I dont think it Blackrock, probably the other one. They are leveraged buyout specialists though. I cant see them pumping money into us unless they are setting us up to onsell. Would be an odd investment for them unless Schwarzmann and Gray are secret Spurs fans.
