Surely the top managers have agents.
We would have contacted the managers' agents, not the clubs, or the managers themselves.

In any case, Levy and Baldini seem to be running separate recruitment campaigns so no-one can say with any certainty who hasn't been contacted. (And it would not surprise me if Lewis wants to stick with Sherwood, to add to the confusion.)

DE BOER OUT!

Sorry, just wanted to be first and around here you have to get in quick.
That is completely unreasonable. I am prepared to give him 45 minutes of his first game before declaring him a total muppet.

If we want de boer, Levy should do what ever it takes to get him. The fact is you cannot always play hardball in business and football otherwise you do not get what you want. The fact is we needed a manager 5 months ago not a spoilt child we have in charge at the moment.

If we keep Sherwood my active supporting of Spurs will come to an end, this season has already convinced me to give up my season ticket. I know someone else will just end up buying it and Spurs will not care but I am just fed up with Levy and Co. They have zero vision or forethought and only think about instant results. The biggest problem with the club is the infrastructure has been ignored for so long. The fact is we have a useless coaching system, anyone good on our medical and ground staff gets poached, these are things that are needed for the long run. Spurs also show very little loyalty to anyone so we get the same in return.

If it makes you feel better, I am very close to letting mine go too after 12 years. I just can't be ar$ed any more - there is no soul to any of it.

Knowing my luck we should be certainties to win the league next season.

So... By soul, you mean chance of winning the league?

Short sighted? We've built one of the best training centres in europe. Have possibly the best academy in the uk, are building a brand new stadium. Are looking at the possibilities for a possible nfl share, have made a deal with maple leaf to sell our merchandise across canada.
Levy is thinking long term about the future of this club that is sustainable and doesn't need oil money or massive overspending to survive.
It's the fans that are short sighted demanding instant success and gratification. This season we could possibly match our record points hall that was set last season, but some of you treat it as if we've been relegated.
Support the club or don't. I care not. Spurs are my team and always will be.

Sounds like we have made an unofficial approach then. Does this count as tapping up? We need to decide who we want as manager and then get that guy and then give him time. FDB seems a great candidate but whether we can get the deal done or give him time should he arrive I'm less sure about.
