I said this on another thread after the NLD. That's the great thing about watching this team progress, the way they learn. It's unusual for a player not to progress. Even as I was pulling my imaginary hair out when Llorente messed up, I did notice that he was running quicker than before with a bigger stride length. The disappointment with the actual attempt was presaged by astonishment that he actually got to the ball.

It's true we are improving but also that we're quite the finished product. We can get there but it'll take a few new top players and improvements from the rest. Closest we've been in my lifetime though.
