And, as for Latino fans - the number 1 watched soccer league in the US is not EPL; it's not MLS, it is Liga MX - by a substantial margin, despite being shown only on a Spanish-speaking network.

Truth, but there's still a lot of interest for both the NFL and European football leagues in Latino communities living either in the US or in Mexico/central america (while the only people who actually care about la Liga MX are basically mexicans). Spurs being the home for such a traditional NFL franchise would probably raise our profile a lot among latin americans who love both sports (even though our good performances in the CL is doing just that atm).

Even with the increased interest in La Liga MX among Mexicans and Mexican-Americans in the U.S., that has a lot to do with Univision and Univision Deportes creating affordable cable packages for Spanish-speakers. Households will have different members seeking news in Spanish, telenovelas and...sports. A huge crossover market which which was obviously utilized by commercial interests.

In general, the Latino population in the U.S. is young, bilingual, has an interest in soccer worldwide including the PL. It also has a lot of NFL fans including a large Raider following. It's a dynamic group.

On a potential Raider link, hearing blanket statements like "The Raiders are the antithesis of Tottenham" meaning they're too scary-bad, image-wise, and the Raiders play in black, Spurs play in white as arguments against a potential tie up... just made me laugh a little.

As long as that translates into summer spending...shinehead...great.
Absolutely. It's great and all that but the only way that it will mean anything to me as a fan is if extra revenue translates into transfer revenue.

...
If the Raiders spend a year in London, the WHL Kop will be known as the Black Hole for Raiders games. ...
I think I prefer the name 'The Black Hole' to 'The Kop'.
Not that I particularly like the name.

I hope this is true. The stadium is costing a fortune and we need some money from somewhere. Once we get a few games we can start doing what Wembley does and sell out two games a year. It'll raise our profile (we still need a stadium sponsor don't forget) bring in some cash and show we can put on events. I'd like us to beat the scum there but this would be a great deal.
