As it stands England winning the World Cup. The lift it would give to our boys coming back would be a huge boost for them. This could be the closest they ever come to the ultimate dream for any player.

You’d take PR before a Spurs winning the league?

World’s gone batshit crazy.
I am not saying I would take it over the PL, but if we are ever going to get to that next level we need PR. One title is not enough, look at Leicester. However, having 2 captains for the World Cup Final play for Tottenham Hotspur is pretty impressive!

Lets make sure I have this right. In your world England winning the WC, creates more PR and exposure for Spurs thus taking them to another level, even more so than Spurs actually winning the EPL?

Easy enough question, which would you prefer.

Not being English it's easy for me but living in England I can see how much this nation has got behind the national side and when will England have a better chance than this to win the World Cup.

Equally when will Tottenham have a better chance to win the Premier League.

I set poll to close before England semi KO.

Er… wat?

Maybe, look what happened when Leicester won the PL. faded away, and never really hit the next level. PR to our club so we can buy bigger players will help in the long term. I mean ideally both would be the best scenario, but I am happy to take the PR to push our club forward.

The more fitting question is Spurs CL win or England WC win.

Simply the league is just that. A league.
Winning the league can in actual fact be not all that exciting. It's over the course of 38 games. If you were to wrap it up with a few games to spare, or were so far ahead it became a formality, it takes the shine off it.

If it went down to the last day, and (like that Aguero winner for City) the last minute, then that would be ridiculous.

Winning the WC would be the more important IMO.

I'd rather see England lift the WC as that's potentially a once in a lifetime thing. I was so fucking pumped when Dier put England through into the quarter final.

Usually I'd lean the other way.

But now we're here, I'd take the WC. That transcends the league IMO.

In fact the more I think about it, the more it seems silly to even suggest otherwise.

Anddddddddd.....

If I was still playing and someone asked me the same question, it's a no brainer. World Cup every time. There is no bigger achievement for a player than to have a WC winners medal. (IMO of course.)

Honestly don’t think either will happen in my lifetime now. This year was the year for England, Leicester year was the year for Spurs.

I’d take Tottenham winning the League Cup over England winning the World Cup.

I’m a genuine England fan too! Through thick and thin ( as opposed to 3/4’s of the nation who only like them when they are doing well )

Tottenham far more important to me.
