Tottenham Hotspur’s board have provided an extensive update on the progress of their new stadium, and admitted there has been a slight delay due to bad weather.

Yeah, I don't understand why this is being introduced as 'new' news in various places other than lazy, lazy journalism.

The Mirror first broke this in October last year, when Spurs had already discussed rearranging fixtures in the same way that Liverpool did:

Levy even told the Trust that Spurs had an option of a second season at Wembley if the worst happened.

Then again in December 2017: “It was always envisaged in the construction plan that it may be necessary to play early games away from home.”
