Stories are written to sell papers and because of the ambiguity over transfers the reporters can write stories after trailing through the internet. I bet the papers hate the Suarez and James deals were done so quickly otherwise they would have been writing about them all summer.

Yes true . But what is different here is that the headline is a lie and has little connection to the info in the article . Pure click bait , pure con . If the Mirror wrote 'Messi signs for Spurs' headline then wrote about how well Vorm is settling in in the article , would that be acceptable ? should that be posted here for us to be conned too ?

Are there any standards left at all ? Lets weed out pure fraud on here .

To be fair, The Mirror didn't write that headline they wrote;
