It numbers among the many construction projects at Tottenham Hotspur but, perhaps, it is the one to have drifted under the radar.

I was going to post this article, but thought I'd search for it first.

I'll bump it and see if people give it a read. Bar the one suggestion that Poch will one day be unable to resist the pull of Real it's worth a read.

The twisted Utd comments section is priceless too.

Basically, in the comments, Pochettino can't be judged to be a success as he hasn't even won a league cup, but fuck me of course we'll have him when José leaves...

I hate to say it but the more I read articles like this the more I agree with pundits. Everyday there is a new article praising what we are building and how wonderful Poch is. But without a trophy it will all be in vain
I do not doubt we can do it but god do we need some silverware very soon.

Really? I get the trophy thing, I really do. But really soon?

Would you have been more satisfied with a league cup and 6th place last year?

In a few year maybe, but we are still a team transitioning from the trauma of Sherwood and trying to compete with the money doped clubs.

No I agree in essence. A league cup and 6th place would technically be on back step on last season. But how long can we continue to finish in top 4 and be seen as succesful?

Top 4 must be the absolute minimum from now on. Silverware is the next step. We are actually gaining plaudits hand over fist. But to live up to our potential we need top 4 AND silverware.

That is simply the crux of it IMHO
