I wasn’t necessarily thinking that we’d sign a load of top players, but to be the only Prem side not to sign anyone is a bit underwhelming, to put it nicely. Agree, missed opportunity to kick on and improve. That big sponsorship deal has so far fallen flat on Levy’s face.
I feel for poch he will have to face the media with them hounding him for an answer regarding how do you feel about being let down etc, and he will have to remain professional and say that his squad is good enough as we tried to do deals but couldn't find value it's a nonsense but what can we do.

Brozovic would plug all sorts of gaps in a very depleted midfield from 6 through to 10 (and would be a genuine contender to start any match). Unfortunately I'd say odds are 1000/1 that there's actually anything happening.

I'd say you have given generous odds still it's good to retain belief as it keeps us from dwelling on no signings.

Not only that, wait till that lot on sky start spouting that Kane, Eriksen, Ali n the like need to be winning something and need to move on to do so.
Their agents will be in their ears and there are big clubs circling Poch, it could so easy end in disaster.

I suppose we will have to see if there is any fallout from poch or players In regards to not signings made I would imagine there will not be much of a buzz amongst the team like there perhaps is normally when new faces come in.
I also think many fans need to adjust their expectations of the club if they think we can mirror or better than previous couple of seasons top 3 finishes I think it is very unlikely that a top four finish is on the card's.
Would love to hear and see any official announcement or excuses as to the lack of support shown to poch but it does make me smile how levy expects to pay welling United prices when buying but neymar prices when selling incredible.
Maybe this time all clubs are wise to his antics and have out bluffed him along with average clubs spending big spurs have been left floundering like a little lost boy in the playground.

Simple question - does anyone actually believe we made this bid or any of the bids in these types of reports?
When I open a new page on my chrome app, there's a new link in the stories almost every single time from these blog/news sources.

I doubt he will be with us next season, but I can only hope he will. Levy has been found with his pants down in this transfer window.

Levy has been fully exposed as a fraud IMO.
If he won't back Pochettino, who has performed miracles, then he wont back anyone. EVER.

Needs to jog on now.

Its just like we get in to an ideal position to make the next step towards having a realistic chance of winning something but we take our foot off and start to tread water.
Its really annoying!

I bet if Poch had asked him if we could sign Gorgonzola it would be in the cheese room well before kick off.

Where are those new contracts for Dele and Eriksen? What a joke we are and when have the so called ITK on here got something right besides chasing the tail of media coverage and saying something isn't happening, which in our case is the default position.

I wonder if this means that we will have a busy winter window. I hope the journalists ask him directly if he thinks the club hasn't been brave and whether the Tottenham project will be without him next season.

No. We just lodge derisory tentative offers and hope for the best. I have no doubt there's some truth to the initial Grealish bid being 3m and Onomah. We're what is best known in corporate parlance as timewasters. Timewasters get short shrift.

I’m sorry sir. I could not disagree more. Daniel Levy is the reason we are the magnificent club we are today. I strongly urge you to watch this video from 3:50 onwards. These are people who know what they are talking about.

I honestly don't give a shit what Belamy thinks.
Come back here in a year when Poch has gone to Man United, Eriksen to Barcelona and even Kane is having a crisis over whether he should stay and then tell me that fucking twat is what is best for this club.

There have been times to show restraint - not throwing money at the likes of Ramos and AVB, who were clearly struggling and losing the faith of the squad. This was not that time. This was the time to give all the players reason to want to stay at the club - to show them we want to be the biggest and the best. But he's absolutely bottled it.
All the good work of the last 4 years will be undone by this time next year.

Ah deluded. Fair enough

I personally think that we have a lot to thank Dan Levy for.

I said it on some other thread but what amazing amazing work from him -http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/new-scheme/

From the dark days of the 90s where a fancy dribble or clever pass would be what we would consider highlights of a game in a dingy stadium that we, an ageing mismanaged team, more often than not lost - to these days. A world class training facility with a top youth team and a world class stadium all cleverly financed and integrated with local community development and initiatives. A coach fully tuned into the clubs objectives - particularly youth development. A team that has consistently finished 6 and above. A salute of gratitude and respect Mr. Levy from a fan who has seen the dark days. A top astute business leader in a very volatile industry. Always has us punching well above our weight.

Watch the video mate. Don’t just post intuitive emoticons. Our business in a truncated transfer window where every team is struggling - including Man United - is not a fair reflection of his ability as a football business leader.

Please watch the video before responding. It’s not Bellamy who is offering most of the opinion. Watch from 3:50.
