Good luck to him. Can anyone tell me what's the situation with Lewis Holtby.

Good luck to him. Can anyone tell me what's the situation with Lewis Holtby.

He broke his collarbone and is out for a couple of months.

He is currently on loan with an option to buy, after a certain number of games a condition which has been met, Hamburg have invoked the option. The final decision is Holtby's though. Personally I'd like to see him come back and fight for a place.

I think the only reason why he was linked with us because there was a possibility of getting him for free or a very low fee (under 5 million).

Funny how we have got from splashing the cash to the bargain bucket.

Yes because it ticked all boxes required to qualify as a levy deal

This is how it will be for a long time only Chadil and CE of the summer signings are worth more than we paid for them at the moment.
