A bumper package/new deal is probably so Levy can sell him for more. Anyway, would he really want to go and play in the French league after playing in the PL? I'd understand going to Barcelona or Real Madrid, but Monaco or PSG? Maybe at the end of your career but not in your prime.

I would imagine PSG is a massive upgrade on THFC.

Only if you want to play in the French league. Not exactly enticing. Yes he would get CL too but who knows how long you will be in that each year, in the meantime you are playing in a league with little competition, would get pretty boring.

i'm sure we've heard this before .Player being offered bumper contracts.usually the contracts don't materialize and the player leaves.I can't make any argument for him to stay if a CL club comes in for him.We are at least 2 years away from that unless we can win the Uefa cup next year
