About to punish a fan because they made a sign rightly calling out Alonso? Well that's embarrassing. Shameful, to be honest. It could be debated whether it was in bad taste or not. But it rightfully called out Alonso. Should it have been done for Huddersfield? No because it doesnt have the effect it should have had. Better saved for a match against Chelsea.

The real news here is Alonso not being properly punished.

It's poor taste but I have no problem with people highlighting what he did and how he basically got away with it. Drink driving is the issue here, not banners made in poor taste

True, but the real news has nothing to do with our club

Thank goodness we've addressed this great injustice. What kind of society doesn't protect never-incarcerated murderers from verbal abuse? They're the real victims here.
Look, he's done his time... OK so he hasn't actually done his time, but he's had his life irrev.... OK so he hasn't had his life irrevocably ruined, but he's had to pay so m.... OK so he hasn't had to pay that much of his wealth but, like, he gave a really full and heartf.... OK so he didn't really give any kind of apology. But he hasn't actually killed anyone else since, so, that's progress. We should all just move on. He certainly has.

Maybe, when they track down the 'culprit', they'll find that it's somebody who has suffered at the hands of a drunk driver. That would be a nice bit of Karma.
