I wanted Poch to be our manager but after about 10 games wasn't too sure (#shortsighted)! I've got to say he has the team working brilliantly and I'm soooo happy and excited about the future.

Apparently Wenger's been doing his studying and has figured out the effectiveness of sitting deep at the Lane. We're too narrow, too slow, and too unable to dribble through tight spaces.

We're being done by the old Ar$enil - boringly efficient. Wenger is adopting Mouhrino's game-plan - and it's working. Mo Po needs to make changes BEFORE the 60th minute.
Chadli is fucking good and Lamela is so fucking bad - That would be a start and Please oh Please get Eriksen central ASAP.
That's two very obvious and basic changes that 1) Should never have begun with and 2) Needs changing PRONTO.
Else we're going to waste the next 15 minutes in the same pattern of predictability.
COYS (Please)

needed to equalise that half.

Gonna be really tough now, probably end up being sucker punched

He really isn't and is just passing backwards. He is offering nothing defensively. Lamela is. Like I have said, both been shit, but for me Dembele just edges the shittyness.

You're better than that comment, MP

Same old problems, no width, poor passing and decision making in the final third. All the possession under the sun and about as creative as brick.
I think it was @Archibald&Crooks who did the knee jerk shaming threads - wish he still did them. Some beauties in here

I wanted Rafa Benitez. I'm so glad we never got to see how that would have gone. Brilliant performance today. My MOTM goes to Mason.

How was mine knee jerk? I was talking about the performance of the players in the first half. What else do I base it on?

Now - that was a knee-jerk.

Come on - neither were 'shit' in the first half - we dominated them in both halves and both played their part in that.

Uhhh I'm not sure how mine was a knee jerk, Wenger absolutely had his team sit considerably deeper than they once did typically and we were struggling at the point of that post to find the incisive move. Don't see any overreaction or doom n gloom there, or even a prediction of the result.

They were not good in the 1st half. Hence my (possibly harsh) rating of shit. Not knee-jerk. Knee-jerk would've been "they are shit ****ing ****s ****s you cant play ****ing football"

Too Narrow, Too Slow? If anything we played a higher tempo in the first half and I can remember Rose and Walker both bombing into space on the flanks in the first half.

No need to pick out comments made during the heat of a game. If someone recorded everything I say at the pub or WHL there'd be some shockers.

Why? :cautious: - have I missed one from you...

I was in the pub...to be sure if you'd been there with a microphone there'd be plenty that could be analysed post-game! I'm buzzing now, of course. As I'm sure are everyone who were critical of mistakes made during the game.

How things have turned. We had 3 academy starters. 2 players we picked up at 18 for 5m total and are well within our bragging rights to some part of their development.

The rest were reasonably priced other than Dembele (I say that because we neared a transfer record in meeting his supposed buyout clause). Our team cost all of 56m today (starters) and 12m of that went to one of the best goalkeepers on the planet. So fair enough.

Ozil cost 42m alone.

You shouldn't really judge a player on his cost, so i am often told anyway.

Just back from the Lane with a very croaky throat.

What a performance from the lads today, thought we dominated the overwhelming majority of the game and played some good football.

Great match, Great performance and a Great atmosphere.
