Your right mate, Trippier's crossing yesterday was awful couldnt get the ball in most times. First half he didnt try to take the defenders on just passed back and sideways. Son did alrite but was trying to do to much with the ball. Sometimes I think why dont we play gritty football try whip the ball in for headers in the box go a goal up and then play the one touch passing game.

That's because he tried to get to the byline and cross the ball, somthing which no one else in our team tried. I keep hearing how great Trippier crosses the ball but his delivery was pathetic. Yes I know he laid in the goal but no surprising it was the only time I remember him getting to the byline and crossing the ball. All the time we were putting balls in with our players having their backs to the goal; this makes it so much easier to defend against us
I know what he was trying to do.

Sums us up as a team right now I think.
We're a little bit like Arsenal were a few years ago - pass, pass, pass, pass, pass - all sideways and backwards, then shoot high and wide from 25 yards.
Football's a simple game, and sometimes we seem to overcomplicate things.
Our best moments over the last couple of seasons were when we did the simple things and when we weren't afraid to mix it up a bit.

At the moment it's a bit dull and frustrating to watch, when you can see the simple pass, but a player holds on to the ball in order to try something themselves that fails to come to fruition.

Well, we managed to squeeze a win at the end. Our both goals that we conceeded were down to poor defending. Stupid second yellow for Aurier. Up to third, let's hope we can continue fighting for top spot this season.
