IIRC think he quite literally comes from the Brazilian ghetto and is probably just incredibly grateful to be a pro footballer

Yeah. He's also really religious and humble. Still find it a bit odd that he went to France.

Which formation did we play each half and who played where?

Did we play well? Positives and negatives ahead of start of this season?

Think we played well... could have gone 3 or 4 goals up before Bayern sent on the big guns.

think 2 games in 2 days forced everyone to rotate.

I am also really pleased for the team, nice for the younger players to step for and really take confident penalties. Still wondering what the heck was that from Eriksen thou. didn't look comfortable.

I remember us winning a pre season tournament over in Asia back in the early 2000’s, it was such a big thing that even google has no record of said achievement.
This is right up there, it’s all over the ‘tinternet.?

Ahhhh happy memories! That was the 2005 Peace Cup. And what a wonderful preseason that tournament was. I remember Keanos unbridled joy at lifting that trophy to this day!

What was particularly enjoyable was that it heralded the start of our revival as a club under Levy/Jol. There was such a positive buzz around the club and that feeling we had turned a corner.

Seeing the lads, Sissoko, Moura, lifting the cup made me feel so heartwarming but also so sorry that we were soooo close to lifting one that really matters exactly 2 months ago... How could we have missed that opportunity???? ARgh......

The close things in life...

Still don't understand why we never went after Arp. Cheap, big talent and a Spurs fan..
Oh yes, he is a real talent and is a shame he went to Bayern that is almost giving us no chance to sign him any sooner. Was following him since last season when there were rumours he could be signed but oh well...

Whilst it's all fun and games it being the Audi cup seeing a few of the players reaction maybe even though it's a friendly tournament this can get them over a mental hurdle.

Surely the fact that he's at Bayern now tells you it was the usual "German player gets tapped up by Bayern for a future move as soon as they show any hint of promise". German players are almost as reluctant to travel as English ones as well (which is weird when you consider it's English and German tourists that can be found throughout Europe every summer).

I’ve been up for 12 hours straight trying to get a chant that works with “vorsprung durch technik “ in it - fucked if I can ?

“My Audi man, said be an Arsenal fan etc”
