Might as well save him now, not needed today, but he's got to be in the serious reckoning going forward.
I'd reward him for his recent performances and give him a taste of this. Also symbolic for Walker that he's in a proper competition for the position.

Yeah it's not just the Arsenal connection, he is just a horrible cretin generally. Similar to Terry, it's not just his Chelsea connection it's the horrible person (if you can call him that) that he is.
