Lifting your arms to protect yourself/stop the ball are unnatural positions and that means it's handball. Well in my interpretation of the law anyway

A real lack of movement and players willing to make something happen. Perhaps if we'd have had a win last week we'd be happy to be patient but even last season when we had to be patient we had a few 'nearly moments' and you could see something happening. Today we just look short of ideas and responsibility.

Awful half, not very promising at all. A shame after I thought we played ok against Chelsea last week and Juventus before them.

Every team that is supposedly lesser than us will treat their game against as a cup final ,going to be a long year at our adopted home.

Total lack of intensity. Going to be a long season if we can't up.the tempo more
Just makes ours approach to the transfer window more baffling can't break teams Down, I know I'll buy a new keeper and a few defenders that will work :)

Really turgid stuff in that first half. No one says it's easy when the opposition stick every man behind the ball, but we're lacking urgency, tempo, ideas, and sharpness.

They've got 9 men stuck behind the ball yet, and I hope people were watching that half for the amount of times it happened, you have Dier, Dembele and Davies (apart from the one time he made a forward run that even he couldn't pass up) are all on the same horizontal line not even 10 yards in front of our two centre backs. So five players hanging back basically redundant.

There is enough talent out there, but we aren't going to win unless we work harder for it. Move the ball quicker, move them around, and take the handbrake off.

Hate Wembley, hate club Wembley, hate Mason, hate Shaun Dyche, hate that I'm having to run a VPN to watch the game.

Fuck the lot of 'em

Why has Potch gone back to the 4-5-1 formation. We always look really slow and ponderous playing this formation.

If we don't get a win here today it does highlight the negative side of waiting in the transfer window. If we were in the title race and missed out on a couple of points, you would point to games like this and not been prepared.

We are crying out for pace from the fullbacks, we need atleast one pacy option on the flank to stretch teams, what Burnley are doing is our Kryptonite...keeping it real compact.

COYS, lets do this.
