91 mins YELLOW CARD Tottenham 2-1 Everton
Christian Eriksen is the latest name to go into the book. But Everton have the ball.
88 mins YELLOW CARD
Tottenham 2-1 Everton

Another card, another late Everton chance. Ben Davies dives into a rash challenge near the right corner flag. Leighton Baines eyes up the delivery....
86 mins YELLOW CARD
Tottenham 2-1 Everton

Erik Lamela is shown the yellow card for a bad foul.
80 mins SUBSTITUTION Paulhinho for Soldado

69 mins SUBSTITUTION Dier for Chiriches
60 mins SUBSTITUTION Lamela for Lennon
57 mins YELLOW CARD Tottenham 2-1 Everton
Vlad Chiriches is walking the disciplinary tightrope now. The Spurs right-back goes into the book for a wild swipe.
45 mins GOAL Tottenham 2-1 Everton - Roberto Soldado
Tottenham come from behind to take the lead again. A fabulous finish by Roberto Soldado who keeps his composure to fire low past Tim Howard after Aaron Lennon's clever pass. Poor defending by Everton but take nothing away from Soldado. That was a super goal.
42 mins YELLOW CARD Tottenham 1-1 Everton
Goalscorer Kevin Mirallas picks up a needless yellow card as he kicks the ball away after Tottenham are awarded a free-kick. Everton need to keep their discipline. Tottenham are dominating the midfield.
21 mins GOAL Tottenham 1-1 Everton - Christian Eriksen
We have a game. Christian Eriksen pounces after Tim Howard can only push Harry Kane's shot into the Tottenham player's path. Eriksen still had work to do but kept his composure to finish well. Roberto Martinez is seething. Mauricio Pochettino punches the air.
14 mins GOAL Tottenham 0-1 Everton - Kevin Mirallas
Stunner. An absolute stunner from Kevin Mirallas as he finds the corner of the net with a curling 20-yard shot after Tottenham fail to clear a free-kick. Game on.

CAN WE PLEASE JUST WIN A PREM HOME GAME!?!?!?!

I hear that.

Tough place to start but if we could manage a win here you would hope that we could really kick on.

I was really worried about this game but having thought about it more I think its going to be a low scoring draw or just maybe we'll sneak it.

Don't think they'll be as powerful as normal given they were away last night etc.

Fuck it I'm going 2-1 - a scoreline we seem to love, either way, these days.

Take a 2-1 win every fucking day of the week, fed up of losing at home, bloody depressing. Hoping for a good performance though.

A home win with both Lamela and Soldado on the score sheet. It sounds absurd I know but we can always dream.

I don't want Naismith to play, as he is pretty good at getting in behind the defence, and good at finishing. More worried about Naismith than Lukaku.

Interesting thoughts from Martinez...
"I really admire this Spurs side," said Martinez. "I think they have a real talented squad, they are fighting to get into the Champions League positions and I do think they are going to be a really dangerous side, as the new manager and the new players are getting used to the way they want to play.

"They are going to become a real force in the second half of the season, I'm convinced by that. Looking from the outside, Spurs have got real quality, individuals in very good moments of their careers, full internationals. Every aspect of this Spurs side has been tailor made to get into the Champions League, it's a really strong side and it's just a matter of time until they will get there consistently."

looks as though we're okay after all!

Just let Ade do about 55-60 minutes and bring Bobby in against a "tired" everton defence to finish them off ;)

Soldado just played a lot of minutes on Thursday -- simples

There's gonna be a red!

2-2. Eriksen and a Soldado penalty.
