For me the following stood out:

CCV - i've been one of the ones saying he isn't ready, but now i think he might be ok to be our 4th choice CB option.
Ball - even asides from the first goal he looked fairly poor overall, certainly a class below CCV and as such we should sell or loan him.
Wanyama - perfect signing IMO, looks like he can play in either the Dembele or the Dier role with great competency.
Mason - very poor show from him, frankly i think it might be in his best interest to move on this summer, because i can't see him getting played much if he stays.
Winks - should be above Mason in the pecking order and should be getting some regular cameos and league cup starts IMO.
Chadli and Son - both of them were very poor given they should have both been on form with their lack of football last season and lack of summer international action. I would be happy to sell both if it meant bringing in one player that show more promise than them.
Carroll - could be a handy player for a mid-table team, but not good enough for us in a position where we have an abundance of talent already.
Onomah - i'd like to see him get more first team time this season, his has some real potential in him and his work rate and attitude seem really good.

so u believe the lack of football somehow brings good form? seems to me playing regularly usually helps w good form

Maybe some of the 'knee-jerk' reactions against the more established players are based on their performances last season as well. I agree pre-season isn't always a pre-curser to how players are going to do but if there are a few that just don't seem to have changed then why not make a judgement

Let's be honest we're all mainly going to have different opinions. Mine is that Mason Chadli don't seem to have done what I thought they would.

Yedlin copped a load and then went out on loan. Thought he did alright last night but that doesn't mean he's going to set the world on fire

Poch has made some good decisions and given players like Mason their chances. If they don't make the grade I think we know he can be ruthless so I hope they do come good.

Looking forward to the season ahead whatever happens. My only gripe is getting up at 1am to watch the games since moving to Australia . COYS!!!

I don't agree with the CCV love. He looked equally as bad as Dominic Ball.

The first goal in which he tried to cover for Ball's mistake by diving in to tackle was a disgraceful attempt at defending.

Should Vertonghen (and Wimmer) still be injured come opening day, I rather have Dier or Davies line up next to Alderweireld before CCV.

I think that is ridiculously harsh - he was doing the right thing anticipating the danger, and well positioned, he just thought he could nick the ball and got beaten by a quick player. Whether he's ready or not is another question, personally I think he needs a Championship loan where he'll get games, but that's easier said than done.

I thought Janssen showed promise. His movement was impressive, on several occasions he found space but the final ball was either poor or didn't come. I can see how he has scored a lot of goals up to this point.

People slamming CCV and Ball ought to consider they were playing with little help infront of them, in an incredibly inexperienced back line where the experienced player didn't really help at all. If you put one of Ball or CCV into a back five with Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld and Rose and shielded by Dier, Dembele/Wanyama and a discernible press ahead of that, they'd be fine.

To me it really seems like son is not being played in the correct position or that he ends up drifting too deep and gets involved in midfield duties. He needs to play high up the pitch because he doesn't have the strength to play deep.

Think its worth pointing out, once again, that at this point Ball has basically become a DM more than a CB, so even those ready to write him off after that performance (silly IMO) ought to give him a chance in his best position. Fortunately I'm sure we haven't seen the last of him in this tournament.

Trying to appraise any of those players performances in a win nothing friendly worth jack shit is futile in the extreme, then again this is SC. This was nothing more than a fixture to help spread the Spurs name, get players sharp and working towards a fitness level that Poch and his coaches want them to be at come the first game of the season.

In general we already know the starting eleven for the Toffees game, and could more or less (aside from a late injury or knock) write that team down now.

What we do know as fact is that three squad players can find new clubs, and one more incoming. That rationale is good to see and the news that Poch does not want to manage his Country even better.

Unfortunately the people infront had little to do with the mistakes Ball made for the 2 goals.
